The scientific archive of Al-Wataniya private university has been blessed with a new research titled “Improving the Performance of MIMO Mobile-to-Mobile Fading Channel Simulators Using New Parameterization Methods”, presented at the 3rd International conference on Electrical, Communication and Computer Engineering.
Dr.Eng. Omar Al-Zobai; a faculty member of the department of communication engineering at Al-Watanyia Private University presented the paper remotely at the conference which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he was affiliated as a presenter and session chef. The session enjoyed a rich diversity of topics that were associated with communication and 5G techniques
Mobile-to-mobile (M2M) communications is considered one of the new technologies to improve the spectral efficiency in mobile communication systems. In this paper, a tworing model is used for modelling multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) M2M channels. The modelling and simulation of MIMO fading channels is studied for both isotropic- and non-isotropic scattering cases for two-ring model, so in this context, three methods for MIMO simulation channel models are studied: Extended Method of Exact Doppler Spread (EMEDS), Modified Method of Equal Areas (MMEA) and Method Lp-Norm (LPNM). Three new methods are also suggested to design the simulation model of MIMO channel: Modified Extended Method of Exact Doppler Spread (MEMEDS), New Modified Method of Equal Areas (NMMEA) and Modified Lp-Norm method (MLPNM). The performance of each proposed method is compared with the original method by comparing the statistical properties of the reference and simulation models.
It is worth noting that the scientific papers presented at this conference were also published in E-library of the IEEE magazine; magazine published by the IEEE Communications Society dealing with all areas of communications including light-wave telecommunications, high-speed data communications, personal communications. Dr.Eng. Omar Al-Zoubi would like to extend his warmest gratitude to the chancellor of Al-Wataniya Private university, Dr.Prof. Ahed Khezam, for his continuous support to scientific research, and the endless encouragement to the researchers.
